I just saw "The 40 Year Old Virgin" and was delighted to note that the title character was also a "driving virgin", preferring instead to ride his bicycle around town.
Does anyone know where else one might observe such a phenomenon?

Re: Non-driving adults on TV and in the movies
Mon, June 25, 2007 - 1:20 PMHow about in Fight Club, when Tyler Durden steals a red sports car from the airport and drives off with it?
Then later on, he's asked "Where's your car?" and replies "What car?"
(Ok so the character DRIVES cars, but he doesn't OWN any!) :D -

Re: Non-driving adults on TV and in the movies
Tue, May 6, 2008 - 9:49 AMDoes the portrayal of fictional Character's who don't drive comfort you?
Wow, you need help.
Face your fear.
I know it hard, but only you can do it. -

Re: Non-driving adults on TV and in the movies
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 2:01 PMMoses, are you so pathetic that you joined a tribe of non drivers only to make yourself feel superior? You are the one who needs help; the rest of us came here to find people who understand our feelings. We did not join for your useless and condescending answers. Join a tribe that applies to you. Get a life. Find a hobby. I know it's hard, but only you can do it. -

Mon, May 12, 2008 - 7:28 AMMarie,
I am sorry. You are right.
I apologize deeply for my words that offended you.
I will leave this tribe and never post again.
Again, I am very sorry for the harshness of my words.

Re: Non-driving adults on TV and in the movies
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 1:54 PMI love Friends, and they rarely drove, but I can't think of any other characters from TV or movies who rode bikes.
