One of the reasons why I don't drive is because it forces me to excersize. That is, I often have to walk around or bike around to get to places. If I was a typical American driver, I might end up driving EVERYWHERE -- even to the conveniece store that's a five minute walk from my house. If I did that, I'd get far less excerise than I currently do. Meanwhile, your typical American driver might say they don't have the time to excersize. But I say they'd have the time to excersize if they walked or biked to and from work.

Wed, June 20, 2007 - 2:39 PMExactly. I would love to help city planners come up with ways to make areas more walking and biking friendly, as well as suggest landscaping/greenery ideas to cut down on the car exhaust and pollution that those who walk or bike are currently subjected to.
